Dr. Mitra Waite was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2009. Dr. Waite moved to Birmingham, Alabama to continue her education and graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in addition to a Ph.D. in Cell Biology in 2017. Dr. Waite moved back to her hometown of Huntsville to continue practicing dentistry and be closer to her family. She is passionate about providing gentle, quality care to her patients and building confident, healthy smiles.
