A native of Greenbrier, TN, Dr. Kristen R. Bentley attended Birmingham Southern College on a Presidential scholarship where she graduated magna cum laude and received her bachelor of science in chemistry. She proceeded to attend dental school at the university of Alabama Birmingham (UAB), followed by a 12 month advanced education in general dentistry residency where she learned advanced dental techniques with a focus on advanced oral surgical procedures.

Dr. Bentley is also currently working at Lutheran Medical’s AEGD dental residency program in Birmingham where she trains and advises residents on basic dentistry, oral surgery, and implant dentistry.

In her free time, Dr. Bentley loves to paint, swim, scuba dive and travel.
